The Multiply Scheme
The Multiply Programme is an initiative that is run by the government. It focuses on improving numeracy skills for adult learners. This is through the use of online resources, tuition, and functional skills level 2 support. All with the focus of helping adult learners to improve their skills in mathematics.
If accepted into the Multiply scheme, you will be given access to a wide range of functional skills level 2 materials. As well as 1-2-1 tutoring and support by certified functional skills Maths tutors. While the site offers a wide range of support, it, however, does not enable the adult learner to sit the functional skills level 2 Maths exam. To do this, the adult learner must get registered at a registered exam center. This can be done in 1 of 2 ways. The first is through your local college or education provider. Secondly, by registering through sites like Pass Functional Skills to sit the exam from the comfort of your own home.
The support is supplied through being given access to the Multiply Programme's digital platform. This is where the adult learner will be able to access:
Functional skills Maths course materials
Functional skills Maths resources
Functional skills Maths revision videos
In order to qualify for the Multiply scheme, you will be required to meet a number of eligibility criteria. The main one is that the adult learner cannot already have an equivalent qualification to a functional skills Maths level 2 qualification. This level of exams is what the scheme is based around.
If you are still unsure, or just want to see if you are eligible for the Multiply scheme, then check out the site today!
